Accessibility Statement
What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, and how to tell us when it falls short.

Our aim
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility was designed in rather than added afterwards, because a consultancy serving students and researchers with a wide range of needs cannot reasonably do otherwise.
What we have done
- Motion. Every animation, including the scroll-controlled video sections, is disabled when your device requests reduced motion. The same content is presented as ordinary stacked sections instead.
- Keyboard. All navigation, dropdowns, carousels, accordions and forms work without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator throughout.
- Structure. Real headings in order, landmark regions, and a skip link to the main content.
- Text. All content is real HTML text, never baked into images or trapped inside a canvas, so it can be selected, zoomed, translated and read aloud.
- Contrast. Body and heading colours are checked against their backgrounds for AA contrast.
- Images. Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms. Every field has a visible label, errors are described in words rather than colour alone, and focus moves to the first problem.
- Zoom. The layout reflows without horizontal scrolling at 200% and above; wide tables and code blocks scroll inside their own container.
- Targets. Interactive elements are at least 44 pixels tall on touch devices.
Known limitations
- The scroll-scrubbed video sections are decorative. Their meaning is carried by the headings and captions above them, which are always readable, but the video itself has no audio description because it has no audio and no narrative content.
- Some uploaded documents, such as PDFs supplied by clients, may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will provide an accessible alternative.
- Third-party embeds, where used, may not meet the same standard as our own pages.
